Memorial Day Weekend

Well, my camera is broken so I don't have any new pictures to post but we have done so much lately I thought I should write something. We had a great Memorial Day weekend. Our initial plans were to go to the lake but the weather wasn't going to cooperate so we decided to stay at home. We went to the lake two weeks ago and the weather was pretty crummy and we just watched movies all weekend (we can do that at home, and we did). So we did not want to repeat that. We ran soo many errands that we have kept putting off. We changed Riley's crib to a toddler bed. She is doing so well with it. It was definately harder on us than her. She stays in it at night and until we come get her in the morning. We'll see how long that lasts... We joined a community pool so we got to go swimming for the first time this summer. Riley liked to go up and down the stairs over and over and over. Our grill in the backyard has been taken over by a bird's nest. The momma bird had 3 babies about a month ago. 2 of the babies flew away and Raider got the last one... So we thought they were gone, but no. So we bought a new grill. We cooked out ribs tonight that were fantastic. We also grilled out some corn and a hot dog for Riley. While we were in the backyard, I was going to water the yard, but Riley ended up taking over the hose and pretended like she was going to water the yard. She got water all over herself. She just laughed and thought that was so funny. Then she would count "1, 2, 3" and then spray herself with water. We did end up watching several movies- The Reader, Swing Vote, and Fireproof. Oh yeah we took lots of naps! So I guess tomorrow is back to work...
